This page shows three of my latest pieces which are waiting to make their debut at the Oasby Art Group exhibition 25th,26th and 27th June. For this show I've created some pieces based on Shakespeare's
"Midsummer Night's Dream" with a departure from my usual palette of reds and purples in favour of some more muted airy summery shades. In addition to my work there will be fantastic metal sculptures, carved wood, photography, some fabulous jewel like mosaic work, paintings and ceramics.
"Midsummer Magic " opens at 7.30 pm on Friday 25th at the Village Hall Aisby Nr Grantham Lincolnshire. I am the chairman of this group of artists and we go to great pains to create a professional gallery atmosphere at this venue. The Friday reception is a very friendly event with free wine and nibbles and a lovely party feel to the proceedings.

The exhibition continues on Saturday 26th with live acoustic music from " Fanny Power and the mickey money boys " in the afternoon. On Sunday 27th we have music from "Farnaby's Dreame" (recorder consort). The exhibition is open from 11.00-5.00pm daily. In addition on Sunday there is a "Scarecrow Treasure Hunt" around the village and cream teas will be available on the village green. Admission is £3.00 on Friday and £2.00 Saturday and Sunday (children free) . Please come long if you can I'd love to see you.



Further to the Oasby Exhibition I will also be showing my work at Sam Scorer Gallery Lincoln at the beginning of August (more details of this show in due course) and I can also confirm that my work has been selected for "Made10- The Brighton Craft Show" in November - very exciting !

Harding House is a fantastic gallery in a wonderful half timbered building on Steep Hill in the historic cathedral quarter of Lincoln. I am a member of the Artist's Cooperative there and so I can always be found "playing shops" on a few days each month! If you come to visit please introduce yourself. If you can't visit on one of my days, come to Lincoln anyway- the cathedral is wonderful and our gallery is full of lovely and varied work by a host of different artists! The gallery is open every day (including Sunday) 10.00a.m.-5.00p.m.
