A series of landscapes based on my travels to Croatia and the work of naive artists from this beautiful country........
These pieces were created for an exhibition called "Tales of enchantment ". They are all handsewn onto box canvases for a more contemporary look.

A romantic and exciting story about the biggest piece I have ever created !
This incredible piece was commissioned by Clare and Trevor.The story of Rapunzel clearly had great significance for them and they told me that they wanted the embroidery (unframed) to measure approximately 1 metre square ! We conversed through emails over the months- first I sent them sketches of suggestions for the finished piece, then swatches of the proposed fabrics.....as the time went by they became "Rapunzel" and " Prince Trevor" and I became the " Fairy Godmother" ! The story reached it's happy ending in January 2008 when they arrived in Lincoln to collect their very special picture ! They absolutely love the piece and the looks on their faces made all the hard work and anxiety involved in creating this huge picture worthwhile !
